Daintree and Cape Tribulation encompass large areas of pristine beaches, rainforest and waters. 104 kilometers north of Cairns, Cape Tribulation is 16,965 hectares of dense rainforest teaming with wildlife. Centuries ago it was originally inhabited by aboriginals before Captain Cook landed there in 1770.

Daintree is a thriving town well known for its gorges and river which just like Cape Tribulation, is a Mecca for the tourist and nature seeker. If this wasn't enough, it certainly doesn't hurt that it's in close proximity to the Great Barrier Reef. There are other towns close to these two regions that share the same natural beauty and their own unique history such as Mossman, well know for its sugar cane industry.
