Work In Cairns gives no guarantee that the services on the website will be accessible to users at all times. In the event that the site is down or there are website errors, we will not be held responsible or liable for any losses or damages that this may incur. Work in Cairns agrees to use all possible means to ensure that any disruptions, errors or denial of access to the site will be resolved as quickly as possible.

Work In Cairns gives no guarantee that resumes and other files that are downloaded from the website will be free of viruses or any other malicious infections or code. It is the user's responsibility to guard against this by using appropriate virus software and firewalls.

Users of the website are entirely responsible for the security of their username and password. Registered Employers & Jobseekers agree to accept full responsibility for all activities that occur via their account or password. We will not be held responsible or liable for any misuse of users accounts.

Job Seekers

Work In Cairns does not guarantee the availability of any job advertised on the website. We will not be held responsible or liable if the position has been filled prior to the jobseekers application from the website.

Whilst Work In Cairns undertakes all reasonable measures to ensure that jobseekers applications are delivered to the respective employers, we will not be liable for any loss or damages arising from an application failing to reach the employer.

Work In Cairns provides links to other websites maintained by third parties. These sites are not under the control of Work In Cairns and we are not responsible for the contents. We will not be liable for any damages or loss arising in any way out of or in connection with any service provided by a third party.

Users agree that information contained on Work In Cairns is for personal use only. Information on the website may not be sold or redistributed.

Employers / Advertisers

Advertisers who use the website agree to indemnify Work In Cairns against all actions, claims, suits, liabilities, costs and expenses incurred on any account by Work In Cairns as a result of the listing or proposed listing of any advertisement by an advertiser.

Work In Cairns accepts no liability for any errors and requires that Advertisers check their advertisements for errors when they are posted on the website. We will undertake all reasonable measures to edit errors brought to our attention as quickly as possible.

Advertisers must comply with the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission Act 1986 and all anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation applicable in the State or Territory in which they conduct business.

Work In Cairns will not be held liable or responsible for any advertisements that appear to be contrary to law and we reserve the right to remove, edit or reject any advertisement without notice for any reason whatsoever.

We will not be held liable or responsible for any loss, costs, damages or loss of profits sustained as a consequence of any Advertiser employing or engaging any person sourced through the website.

Advertisers using the site agree to comply with the Trade Practices Act and state / territory Fair Trading Acts. Placing misleading advertisements is an and all advertisements are subject to Work In Cairns approval.

Work In Cairns may cancel and/or refund, at its discretion, any advertising fees paid if the advertiser does not abide by these terms and conditions.

Employers can view the jobseeker applications, CVS and cover letters for up to 1 month after the job advertisement has expired, they are then permanently deleted from our systems.

Advertising prices and plans are subject to change without notice.
